You’ve Arrived

Effective April 10th, 2025, U.S. and Canadian citizens are required to have a visa prior to their arrival in Brazil. Please ensure that you apply for your Brazilian visa at least 20 business days in advance of your trip. Processing times vary based on the number of visa applications that are in process at that specific embassy or consulate at any given time.

For your added comfort, you will have an English-speaking guide waiting for you outside of customs with a sign with your name on it. Your representative will help you to co-ordinate meeting up with your private driver and accompany you to your accommodation.

Transfer by car to Cosme Velho district where visitors will take a train up to the Corcovado Mountain, through the Tijuca Forest. On the top, there is a fantastic panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro in addition to the famous Christ Statue. Before return to the hotel, visit São Conrado to observe the famous hang gliders flying over the beach.

Of course, no trip to Rio is complete without a leisurely afternoon on the shimmering beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Cozy up under an umbrella with a delicious drink in hand and relax under the warm sun with the sounds of breaking waves and happy locals come and go. In Rio, the only thing you’ll want for is more hours in day!

Experience Rio at night on this outing to the Rio Scenarium. A stand-out show house unique to the nightlife scene in Rio de Janeiro, and located in the most bohemian neighborhood of the city, the Lapa, the Rio Scenarium is a favorite haunt for locals and tourists alike. Upon your descent from the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain, you’ll have the opportunity to take to the skies and enjoy even more magnificent views of Rio de Janeiro on a brief helicopter tour. Rio de Janeiro TO Paraty

A Change of Scenery

Enjoy a private transfer from Rio de Janeiro to Paraty alongside a professional driver and an English-speaking guide. Approximate travel time is four hours.

Different from the other colonial cities of Brazil, the architecture of Paraty has character, originality, and definition forming a harmonious monument to the XVIII century. Paraty today is a Historic National Monument as declared by UNESCO. The tour has includes a guide that will tell you about legends and history of the last century, visiting churches, museum, and old houses. The tour is perfect for taking pictures and videos.

The churches charge a tax (it is not included in the tour price).

Paraty

Island Time

Paraty has 65 islands and many beaches. It is surrounded by exuberant vegetation that forms a secluded and stunning area. The waters are perfect for both swimming and snorkeling. Enjoy a 5 hour tour of the archipelago with 3 to 4 stops in secluded beaches and islands to swim, play or just relax. There are a few options of for having lunch in one of the local restaurants or on the beach (not included).

Cultural Immersion

Enjoy a six-hour private jeep tour inside the National Park of Serra da Bocaina visiting several waterfalls, distilleries of cachaça, the famous Gold Trail, and other attractions. This tour is an exceptional occasion to come in direct contact with the flora and fauna of the region and all its preserved biodiversity.

Departing from your hotel, the tour commences in the direction of the National Park of Serra da Bocaina visiting the protected area of Gold Trail which has an interesting exposition with pictures and history. The tour also visits Murycana’s farm and its Distillery of Cachaça situated beside a little furniture museum. Then depart for the Tobogã’s Waterfall, a pleasant spot for taking pictures and the Tarzã Waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

After the swim, you will visit the distillery of Cachaça Engenho D’Ouro, where you can enjoy tastings, observe the impressive fabrication of the drink and you can also purchase it directly. Next stop is at Pedra’s Branca waterfall, one of the biggest of the region, an enjoyable place to take pictures and enjoy swimming. On your return back to Paraty, visit the Exposition of Bromeliads where you can view more than 300 species of flowering plants.

At the end of your tour you will be brought back to your hotel by jeep.

To properly understand how Brazil rose to become a pivotal country on the international stage, an in-depth look into its past is required. Today, discover much of the country’s early history as you leisurely explore Ibirapuera Park, voted as one the top ten urban parks in the world by the Guardian, Fodors and Travel+Leisure Magazine, and are guided through Museu Afro Brasil alongside an expert local tour director. Ibriapuera, often described as “South America’s Central Park,” is adorned with impressive monuments, bridges, statues, an obelisk, and buildings designed by renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer throughout the expansive and otherwise green-space. Strolling through tended gardens and past aged trees, learn of Brazil’s early roots as you make your way toward the Museu Afro Brasil. Spread across a series of incredible galleries that feature over 6,000 unique works, Museu Afro Brasil aims to showcase the pivotal role Africans had in the foundation of Brazil. Memorializing the difficulties of times-past as well as the impressive feats accomplished, the museum is both eye-opening and inspiring, if at times troubling. After being picked up from your hotel, enjoy a scenic drive through Iguassu National Park along the Cataratas Highway that leads to the border between Brazil and Argentina. Here, the river drops down into a breathtaking canyon. You can descend a walkway and gaze at both sides of the falls or stop at the elevator to ride to the Brazilian side lookout point. Fantastic scenic and photographic opportunities abound, and your expert English-speaking Guide will provide an educational and fun experience. At the end of the tour you will be brought back to your hotel in Iguazu.

Chasing Waterfalls

Enjoy a fun packed full day private tour exploring the Argentine side of Iguazu falls. After being picked up at your hotel, you will be transferred into the subtropical jungle in the company of your Guide and Driver to view one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Iguassu Falls, formed by the spectacular fall of more than two hundred cascades. The falls are protected within the Iguassu National Park, an expanse of 67,500 hectares and which was created with the objective of conserving the splendid frame of the surrounding subtropical jungle. There is plenty of walking throughout the day as you explore the area as well as a chance to see the handmade products of the Maca Paraguayan ethnic tribe. Take the Jungle Ecological Train to Devil’s throat station and enjoy the 15-minute train ride going by the shore of the fabulous Iguazú River and discover the silent inhabitants such as the majestic yacarés. Disembarking the train, your Guide will accompany you on the footbridge of 3600 feet over the Iguazú River while they explain the bird diversity found in these parts such as condors and other wildlife as well as the Garganta del Diablo waterfall. Enjoy the wonderful views as you continue on your hike through the jungle passing other waterfalls. This is where the Mission movie was filmed. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel.
